Your capture hardware powered by our reconstruction technology
Head reconstruction, cleanup, retopology and texture baking in one workflow.
Build a complete head scanning solution with our API. Turn captured photos into clean heads in MetaHuman topology with projected textures or 4K PBR maps.
Combine reconstruction and scan processing
Scan Reconstruction builds head geometry from your captured photos and fits it directly to MetaHuman topology. Reconstruction, mesh preparation and texture generation run together, reducing the separate processing stages between capture and delivery.
Every head comes with the same vertex layout and UVs, ready for further work in your customers’ character pipelines.
Deliver textures with the geometry
Project and blend the captured photos onto the head, or generate 4K PBR maps: Base Color, Normal, Roughness and Specular.
Optional texture cleanup removes hair and image artifacts. Deliver the mesh and its textures together for sculpting, look development or MetaHuman workflows.
Work with your capture hardware
Use a synchronized camera rig with even lighting and a neutral expression, following our capture guidelines. Scan Reconstruction supports setups with three or more cameras.
Automate from capture to delivery
Integrate our cloud REST API into your scanner software. Send the captured images, choose texture and cleanup options, and retrieve the completed mesh and maps.
Build reconstruction and processing into your own application, with consistent output across scanning sessions.
# 1. Create a head and wait for it. Billed once per head; a failed head is free.
curl "https://api.keenface.ai/v2/heads?wait" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $API_KEY" \
-F [email protected] -F [email protected] -F [email protected]
# 2. Get a GLB link. Files are included in the head price. Repeat after time_sec while "retry-after".
curl -s "https://api.keenface.ai/v2/heads/$HEAD_ID/model?mesh_format=glb" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $API_KEY" > link.json
# 3. Download it right away: the link must be opened within 20 seconds
curl -o head.glb "$(jq -r .data.url link.json)"
